Kenneth Hanselman Obituary

HANSELMAN Kenneth, 82, of Clifton, NJ and Denning-Claryville, NY died Monday, October 22, 2007 in Wallkill, NY. Born in Lyndhurst, NJ he resided in Clifton, NJ since 1954. He also maintained a residence in Denning-Claryville, NY. He was the owner of Hanselman Inc., Lyndhurst, NJ which was a plumbing-heating and air conditioning company for over 45 years. After being retired for about a year and a half, he returned to the work force as a Project Officer II for the New York School Construction Authority until the fall of 2006. He was also the owner of the Passaic-Clifton Judo, Inc., Passaic, NJ for many years. He earned a Brown Belt in Judo and a Black Belt in Jiu-Jitsu. Mr. Hanselman was a World War II United States Marine Corps veteran. He is predeceased by one son, Kenneth F. Hanselman in 1996. He survived by his wife the former Lucille DeFeo; two sons, Mark A. Hanselman and his wife, Jamie of Cedar Grove, NJ and Kurt J. Hanselman of Hollywood, Florida; one daughter, Karyn J. Hanselman of Ft. Myers, Florida; and two sisters, Norma Vanderhoff and her husband, Robert of Highland Lakes, NJ and Frances Spano of Newton, NJ. A Memorial Visitation will be held Sunday, October 28, 2007 at the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton, NJ from 2-6 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. Please visit www.bizub.com for online condolences and driving directions.
