Beverly C. Bittner January 19, 1929 - September 24, 2011 Norwich - Beverly C. Bittner, age 82, of Norwich passed away at Regency Heights Healthcare in Norwich on September 24, 2011. She was born on January 19, 1929 in Westbrook to the late Mathew and Mildred (Hall) Piscatelli. She married her late husband Roy Bittner Sr., June 25, 1949 in Montville. Beverly is survived by a son Charles Bittner of Uncasville, a son Roy E. Bittner Jr. and his wife Cathy of Norwich, a daughter Gloria Donovan of Uncasville and a daughter Elaine Paris and her husband Paul Sr. of Moosup. She also leaves behind sisters Jackie Treola, Pauline Proctor, Mary Schramm, and Althea Rivard, brothers William and Gerald Piscatelli, grandchildren Paul E. Paris Jr., Shawn Schultz, Shannon Bossie, Michael Donovan, Roy E. Bittner III, great grandchildren Kayla Paris, Rayne Schultz, Hunter Bossie and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may visit Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen, Route 32, Montville on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral service and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Beverly's honor to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 26 Broadway, 14th floor, NY, NY 10004.
