Susan, I was shocked to hear of Sister Maureen's death. She was such a special person who said yes to our Lord's call when so many say no. The picture you sent of the two of you at your visit last February displays the love and close bond you and Maureen shared. My heartfelt sympathy to you and yours as you struggle to accept this tragic loss. They say we don't know when a soul is in heaven or still in purgatory, Susan, but I have a feeling the Lord took your beautiful sister directly into His arms. I miss my sister Jackie every day so I share that loss of a sister with you and am here for you whenever you need a listening ear . . . God bless you . . . sending prayers and hugs. P.
