Daniel Frank "Dan" Reutzel

Daniel "Dan" Frank Reutzel, 63, of Brady, passed away Nov. 13, 2011, south of Maxwell.
He was born on Nov. 9, 1948, in North Platte to Frank and Lilly Callahan Reutzel.
Dan graduated from Maxwell High School. After high school he joined the U.S. Army. After his discharge he worked many jobs in several states. He spent two years in Saudi Arabia installing pivots.
He returned home in 1991 and lived with his sister. For the last seven years he worked for Roger Hood Construction.
He was a member of the Maxwell American Legion Post 191.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Dan lived life to the fullest and will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.
Survivors include his daughter, Tonya (Chuck) Vander, of Fredrick, Colo.; grandchildren, Amanda and Jonathon Vander, of Frederick, Colo.; two sisters, Hazel Brackman and Patsy (Gary) Burke, both of Brady; and numerous nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Margy and Daisy; and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Vander.

Services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 18, at Adams & Swanson Chapel.
Burial will follow at Moorefield Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17, with family greeting friends from 5-7 p.m. at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home, which is in charge of the arrangements.
