Ronald Jenkins Obituary
Ronald L. "Ronnie" Jenkins, age 64 a resident of Strasburg passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville.
A funeral service for Mr. Jenkins will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 21, 2010 at the Church at Waterlick with Pastor Larry K. Miller and Jack Figgins officiating. Burial will follow at Panorama Memorial Gardens.
He was born on May 30, 1946 a son of Mildred P. Jenkins and the late Robert Lee Jenkins. He was a member of the Church at Waterlick. Mr. Jenkins was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Dawn Robinson Jenkins; his mother, Mildred Pence Jenkins of Strasburg; one son, Nathan Lee Jenkins of Strasburg; two daughters, Christine Renee Dennis and husband, Terry of Winchester, and Julie Ann Gatto of West Virginia; three grandchildren, J.C. Dennis, Whitney Dennis, and Sidney Gatto; two brothers, Glenn Wayne Jenkins and wife Vicki of Martinsburg, WV, and William Robert "Bobby" Jenkins and wife, Joyce of Strasburg.
Pallbearers will be Gary Himelright, Chuck Lloyd, Butch Dellinger, Dumpy Kump, Speedy Gochenour, and Danny Himelright.
The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Friday evening from 7-9 PM.
Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation 1724 East Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23228-2202.
