Orville Plauger Obituary
Orville Francis "Bud" Plauger, age 86, of Strasburg, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Winchester Medical Center.
Graveside rites will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 30, 2010 at Panorama Memorial Gardens, Warren County with Pastor Larry K. Miller officiating.
Mr. Plauger was born January 20, 1924 in Fort Valley, a son of the late Charles Franklin and Grace Munch Plauger. He was retired from Abex Corp., Winchester in 1989 and was a member of White Chapel United Methodist Church, Fort Valley. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul, Jim and John Plauger; three sisters, Althea Bauserman, Anne Golliday and Lucy Funk.
Surviving are his wife, Ann Lake Plauger; two sons, Adam Wade Plauger and wife, Pam of Winchester and Jeff Plauger and wife, Amy of Tecumseh, MI; a daughter, Carla Blakely and husband, Jeff of Front Royal; five grandchildren, Kyle Plauger, Dylan Plauger, Tiffany Blakely, Stephanie Blakely and Wyatt Blakely; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Kathy Dinges, Shanna Dinges, Brooke Wright, Cassidy Wright and Brittany Wright.
Pallbearers will be Danny Plauger, Lanny Bauserman, Harry Fake, II, David Funk, Jr., Brian Dinges, Grayson Funk, David Funk and Bill Sonner.
The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home, Strasburg on Thursday from 6 to 8 P.M.

Sorry I didn't make it to family night. Mom just told me about Bud passing. Hope everyone is doing ok. He is in a better place and him and dad are probably having iced tea right now. Love you all.
