Christopher Chavis Obituary

Christopher Bradley Chavis passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 8, 2015.
Chris is survived by his brothers, Jeffrey Chavis of Breckenridge, Colorado, and Craig Chavis of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; sister, Jennifer Boyd of Fort Walton Beach; as well as, close nieces and nephews, and aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond C. Chavis of Fort Walton Beach; and mother, Carol Chavis Reinarts of Fort Walton Beach.
Chris was born on May 26, 1966 in Pensacola, Florida. He graduated from Troy State University in 1987 with a degree in business management. Chris worked in the local area as a painter for most of his adult life. Chris was a socially active man who was deeply involved with his friends for the majority of his life. He enjoyed hobbies, such as collecting antiques from the 1800's and football memorabilia.
His family and friends will remember him as a kind and loving person that always cared.
A celebration of Chris' life is being held by family and friends, to be officiated by Reverend Sharon A. Schuler, Aug. 19, 2015 at McLaughlin Mortuary, 17 Chestnut Avenue S.E., Fort Walton Beach, at 2 p.m. The family will receive visitors at 1:30 p.m.

I haven't seen you in so many years, but often remember the times when I first moved to Florida and we were friends. We all had some really good times together back then.
