Carol Krysiak Hamann Obituary
She was born April 19, 1935, in Chicago, to Albert James and Ann (Raab) Mertes.
Survivors include her four children, Ed Krysiak of McHenry, Evy Krysiak of Cabot, Ark., Dan (Kris) Krysiak of Johnsburg and Arnie (Karen) Krysiak Jr. of Wonder Lake; her grandchildren, Jenny, Jeanna, Mike, Joe, Tom, Amber, April, Matt and Jim; and her great-grandchildren, Destany, Kylee, Trinity, Kami, Xander, Summer, Lexi, Sophia and Faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arnold Krysiak Sr.; her brother, Albert Mertes Jr.; and her sister, Claire Trausch.
The visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, at Colonial Funeral Home, 591 Ridgeview Drive, McHenry. The funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, June 9, at Church of Holy Apostles, 5211 W. Bull Valley Road in McHenry, with the time yet to be confirmed.
Interment will be private for the family at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pioneer Center for Human Services, 4001 Dayton St, McHenry, IL 60050; or Hospice of Northeastern Illinois, 405 Lake Zurich Road, Barrington, IL 60010.
