Brad & family: We met at Frank (Denny) Dennehy's funeral in Rockford many years ago. I am still out in Iowa but think of Virginia and Denny almost daily. They were such a big part of my life. I just returned from a trip to Rockford and drove by their duplex and put flowers on their graves. I remember Virginia telling me about your engagement & wedding and also about Summer & Skye. I wonder if you have had more children. I hope all is well with you and think of you flying often. Time also flies and it is hard to believe it has been so long since your father passed. Memories can be very comforting and we have many good ones when we think of your parents and Virginia and Denny. Take good care and God bless . . .

Dear Carole & Family, I just heard the other day about Doug's passing. I am so sorry I did not find out sooner, I would have come to the wake. Doug was a great friend we used to talk in his office the one without the window about his family, my family and I used to let him know if the sun was shining outside because I had a window. It was kind of our little joke. Doug was a wonderful guy and I enjoyed working with him and you too Carole when you worked for Plasti-Chain.
I will keep you in my prayers.

Dear Carol and family: I was so saddened to hear of Doug's passing from Virginia Dennehy (Rockford). I am her friend from Iowa whom you met in the hospital when Denny (Frank) Dennehy was ill. I also saw you again and met Brad at Denny's funeral in Rockford. I just returned from Virginia's and was pleased that she made it to Doug's visitation to see you and the friend's she & Denny made over the years with the card collectors shows, etc. She is still so concerned for you all but realizes there isn't much she can do at her age (especially since she has no long distance service and can't figure out how to use a cell phone!). I have appreciated your friendship and kindness to both Denny and Virginia over the years and know how kind and thoughtful you and your family are from all the stories I've heard from them. I pray the children and your family will heal together and get peace knowing how much Doug will be missed by his many friends as well. Also, know how often Virginia is thinking of you and prays for you.

Truly a huge loss not only to the Toussaint family, but to the entire Johnsburg community. Doug is one of the good people that we are proud to have had the privilege to know. We will especially miss the visits during half time. Doug always brought perspective and insight into each one of those brief conversations. He is in heaven now and all his teams will be winners.

Our condolences to the entire Toussaint family.
