I shall always remember Uncle John, the youngest of the Gariepy boys and girls. My family and I have fond rememberances of him and his wife Hazel and their children in their Chicago days - Marilyn Gariepy Cassidy, Naples Florida

I fondly remember being daunted by his quiet gravitas, coupled by a gentle and courteous skepticism. How fitting that he was on this planet for the duration he was alotted...He and his wife also sired daughter Margo, a significant presence in my past life. Condolences to the entire family.

The best grandfather anyone could ever have. He lived life to its fullest and never let anyone back him down. He will missed but never forgotten.

I feel that I know Mr. Gariepy through the kind and loving words of his daughter (my friend) Margo. I love the stories she shares with me about him and his life.
I pray to God for peace and comfort for you and your family during this time of sorrow.
