Robert Morris Obituary
He was born Aug. 10, 1945, in Harvard, to Robert H. and Mary R. Morris. He attended Harvard schools, where he loved to play basketball and baseball.
He was a semi-driver for 40 years and enjoyed seeing all the customers on his route each day. He worked for Peet Frate Lines, Cotter and Co. and Bonkosky Transportation. He loved gardening, and each year, he gave all his garden produce to the senior citizens "up north." He was an avid collector of John Deere "stuff" and loved NASCAR.
He was a beloved husband, son, dad, grandpa and brother. He will be greatly missed by his family.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Diane; his sons, Scott (Jennifer) and James (Kristina); his daughter, Kathleen (Martin) Pena; his brothers, John (Jean) and Tim (Teresa); his sisters, Marilyn and Pat; and 11 wonderful grandchildren, Christopher, Ashley, Alex, Vanessa, McKayla, McKinzie, McKenna, McKyler, Brandon, Danny and Robby.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Deborah.
The visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral at noon Monday, June 13, at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard. The Rev. Erick McKnight will officiate. Interment will be in Mount Auburn Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the family.

I’m sure your dad had a hand in modeling behaviors that shaped the special person that you are – your wonderful outgoing teaching skills, compassion, and Patients. And your keen sense of humor. I remember Bobby like Dave Meade does, Tried to find him in 2009, but no one knew. Should have tried harder! I remember how up set he was after he missed that last shot in 1963! As I write this Andrea Bocelli & Sarah Brightman are performing "Time to say Good Bye" on TV. How Fitting!

My fondest memory of Bob is making his lists and planting his garden and when it produced he would pick and clean them put them in a basket and give them away. It takes aspecial person to grow something from a tiny seed.Your my brother in law,my sisters husband and my friend and I will misss you.Love Mary Kay

I was a classmate and teammate (base/basketball) of "Box" at HCHS. We have not communicated since those days, but I remember him fondly as a competitive yet good-natured guy who was up-beat and smiling most of the time. My sincere sympathies to his entire family and cadry of friends. He was definitely "one of the good guys" , and my memories of our days together will always be pleasant ones. I am sorry to hear of his recent passing.
