George Luczanich Obituary
He was born Dec. 2, 1938, in Highwood Park, to George and Anna (Zedick) Luczanich. He married Kimberly Marczak on Nov. 16, 2002, in Union. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Luczanich of Woodstock; and two sisters, Anastazia Sabol and Mary Ann Kirkpatrick.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Geraldine (Berube) Luczanich; and his son, James G. Luczanich.
The visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 6, at Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, 1211 N. Seminary Ave., Woodstock. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 312 Lincoln Ave., Woodstock. The Rev. Howard Barch will officiate. Interment will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Woodstock. Military honors will be provided by Woodstock VFW Post 5040.
