Kirk Locher Obituary
He was born June 2, 1953, in Ishpeming, Mich., to William and Alma (Kauppila) Locher. He married Donna J. Malley on July 1, 2005, in Woodstock.
He worked at General Kinematics for 25 years as a motors control technician. He enjoyed working with and on computers. Those who knew him would say he was a real technology hobbyist. He also was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing, hunting and camping.
He is survived by his loving wife, Donna J. Locher; his two sons, Matthew Locher and Joseph Locher; two stepchildren, Richard Drabek and Lori Drabek; his stepgrandchildren, Noah Drabek and Brooke Drabek; his siblings, William Locher, Geri (Frank) Salat and Ross (Mary) Locher; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
All services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Northeastern Illinois, 405 Lake Zurich Road, Barrington, IL 60010.

Donna & family,
