Dean Cashmore Obituary
He was born Nov. 9, 1943, in Waukegan. A resident of Island Lake, he was an Army veteran stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Wauconda American Legion Post No. 911 and the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation.
He was the beloved husband of Marge (Spoto); loving father of Kimberly (Christopher) Bernard, Tracy Cashmore, Diana (Todd) Marlowe and Dean A. (Amy) Cashmore Jr.; caring grandfather of Alexandra, Zachary, Sydnee, Landon, Seth, Emma and Autumn; cherished son of Russell and the late Geraldine; and dear brother of John.
The visitation will be from 9 a.m. Monday, June 6, until the service at noon at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home, 235 N. Main St., Wauconda. Interment will follow in Windridge Memorial Park, Cary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the Arthritis Foundation, 35 E. Wacker Drive, Suite 2260, Chicago, IL 60601, www.arthritis.org.

thoughts and prayers are with you Marge and family. We will miss Dean a lot. We always had a good time with you both, on the bike and at the casino's. Are weekend trips just wont be the same. Dont think it will be the same for the guys at the coffee shop either. They will miss him too!!! He was a great guy....

May God bless you & your family in this time of sorrow. My son Stan & I had a trailer at Cashmore's Marina for many years. We have fond memories of Dean. He was always a gentleman & so very helpful to novice campers like us. Rest in peace Dean.
