Jack Sanders Obituary

CHAMPAIGN – Jack Charles Sanders Sr., of Champaign, formerly of Chicago and Crystal Lake, died Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
He was born March 6, 1926.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was an avid bridge player and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Surviving are five children, Jack Sanders Jr. of Chicago, Linda Sanders of Savoy, Jim Sanders of Champaign, Lorna Aikins of Warrenville, and Kathleen Sanders of Champaign.
A memorial reception will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 3, in the community room at Winfield Village, 425 Paddock Drive, Savoy.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice.
Morgan Memorial Home, 1304 Regency Drive, West Savoy is in charge of arrangements.

Jack was a great friend for a long, long time and I will miss him greatly. He was a wonderful bridge partner and a fine person.
I am sorry for your loss and my prayers are with you and your family at this time.
