Lelan Wright Obituary

STANTONBURG, N.C. – Lelan "Lee" Gerald Wright, 75, of Stantonburg, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at his home.

He was born Oct. 22, 1935, in McNairy County, Tenn., to the late Manley Wright and Lexie Cone Wright.

He served in the U.S. Marines Corps during the Korean Crisis. He was a former resident of Genoa City, Wis., for more than 27 years.

He is survived by his wife, Edith Peele Wright; his daughter, Melissa Wright of Goldsboro; his sister, Dorothy Robertson and her husband, Ray, of Henderson, Tenn.; and his brothers, Bobby Wright and his wife, Jane, of Glenn, Va., and Dale Wright and his wife, Barbara, of Henderson, Tenn.

No formal services will be conducted.
