Virginia Suckow Obituary

CRYSTAL LAKE – Virginia "Ginny" Suckow, 89, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2011, at Bickford Assisted Living in Crystal Lake.
She was born March 28, 1922, in St. Joseph, Mo., to the late George and Elizabeth (Marqui) Murray.
Survivors include her daughters, Paula Panek and Judy (Frank) Kapusta; her grandchildren, Deborah Panek, Joseph Panek, Donald Kapusta and Daniel (Mary) Kapusta; her great-grandchildren, Bryan Lamb, Derek and David Panek, Samantha, Nicholas and Brandon Panek, Brody, Max and Maggie Kapusta and JP Perrone; her great-great-granddaughter, Jaidah Lamb; a sister, Bette Ann Cooper; and a brother, Robert (Betty Jo) Murray.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Paul.
The visitation will be from 10 a.m. Monday, June 6, until the 11 a.m. Mass celebration at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Road, Huntley.
Memorials in her name may be made to Alzheimer's Disease Research. For information, call James A. O'Connor Funeral Home, Huntley, at 847-669-5111.
