I just found out yesterday of Nick's passing. Julie, ... I am so sorry for your loss. It was always the highlight of my day when your father came into the store. I am so glad I was there that day last summer when he came in. I remember very well our conversation, and will never forget it. Your Dad had a very special place in my heart.

Our lives are all richer for having known Nick. He always gave his all to help everyone when they needed a hand. He always treated me more as a son than a brother-inlaw. There was nothing he wouldn't do to help.

He will live on in our cherished memories. He will be missed by all.

Distance does not allow me to attend the memorial services but please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I had the pleasure of knowing Nick through the Sherwin-Williams credit union. He was such a delight, a very pleasant man. I saw him around Cal City through the years (he diligently attended neighborhood watch meetings) and he always had a friendly smile on his face. He was the epitome of a gentleman.
I offer my sincerest condolences to his family. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
