WOODROW BRADFORD "WOODY" EAST CHICAGO, IN
Mr. Woodrow Bradford "Woody" age 101 of East Chicago, Indiana passed away September 10, 2016. Woody was a life time member of New Revelation Baptist church until his health failed him. He retired from Lever Brothers Company in 1977 after twenty- nine years of service. Woodrow was a World War II veteran and was honorary discharge from the U S Army. Survived by son Woodrow, (Seretha) Bradford; grandsons: Brandon (Ashara) Bradford, Jamie Bradford, Christopher Bradford and Jaylyn David; granddaughters: Sian (Gregory) Elmore, Kenyell Sims-Brown, Jana David, Janell David, Jasmine (Jason) Hopkins, Danyele Bradford, Monique Bradford, Shanta (Tamboura) Winters, Nicole McDaniel and Brakell (Carl) Echos; niece, Aretta Bradford-Nicholas and a very dear family member Joyce Bradford along with other relatives and friends. Visitation Monday September 19, 2016 from 10:00- 11:00 a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11:00a.m. all services at New Community Baptist Church 5461 Calumet Ave. Hammond, IN. Rev. Patrick H. Gillis officiating.Interment Fern Oaks Cemetery.
