Todd and Robin, my heart broke when I learned that your baby boy had passed. I have a daughter his age and such a loss is unimaginable. What I do know is that you and your family should find true comfort in knowing that while Seth has left this place is will always be in your presence. May your faith bring you peace and comfort in your time of need.-Indiana Wesleyan MBA Class

Todd, Robin, and Sean, like many, I was saddened to hear of Seth's passing. I remember his extraordinary energy at soccer practice and games. I remember the love and joy I saw in each of you as you told stories of both boys when we would have chances to visit over the last few years. Please know that your extended family in the Chesterton Soccer and NWI United communities are praying for you during this difficult time.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I remember that Seth was often smiling and joking with his friends at school. He had a wonderful personality with just the right amount of mischief and adventure. Seth will be missed by everyone who knew him. I pray the Lord of Heaven's Armies covers each of you during this most difficult time. I do not mean to undermine the grief; however, I pray for comfort, healing and love to find you.

To friends and family of Seth, he will always be remembered as one of the funniest friends we knew. He was my best friend through middle school and his memory still lives on through us. Today we planted roses by the accident site and draped the memorial with things Seth loved like a bears scarf and some Sox accessories. Seth was just awesome. Sincerest condolences are with you and your family.

Dear family and extended family.....I am a neighbor and good friend of Candi and Craig Riecks. I know how much they loved all of their family members and how grieved they are to lose one. I, too am grieved for all of you. Words fail me so I will simply tell those who don't know me that I have been in your position and know that deep sorrow of losing a child. I have nothing to offer you except my prayers that somehow you all will be comforted by the felt presence of the Saviour and Creator, God. My love to every one of you. In Christ, Char Santefort

Be still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Robin, Todd, and Sean,
I think of you all from time to time with fond memories and occassionally get updates on your lives from home. I was horrified with this most recent update. I often will talk about Sean and Seth as my two favorite kids I ever babysat, the best behaved and most fun boys! I recall one day when I held Seth for probably 5 hours straight and when you returned and I handed him back over, my arm tingled for hours! He was very sweet. I will regret never seeing him as a young man. I am so sorry for your loss. I lost a very close cousin this past year to a motorcycle accident as well. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Be strong. With love, Alana Keilman

I've known Seth since the 2nd grade and I still can't believe that this has happened. I have many good memories of him, and I am sure that many others in the class of 2010 do too. I can't find the words to express how deeply saddened I am that this has happened, but your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

To Seth's family,
I am a teacher at Timothy Ball, and although I wasn't lucky enough to know Seth personally, I know there are many teachers here who did. They always spoke fondly of him. I always thought it was very sweet that he came back to visit these teachers and share his life and current events with them. It meant a lot to them. I also had a chance to speak with Seth a couple of times when he visited, and he was always so funny and full of positive attitude. I know he will be missed by many people. I can't imagine your pain, but I will be praying for peace in your hearts and God's arms wrapped around you.
With sympathy,
