Going to church with my Tia Maria and Tio Alfonso is one of the memories I will cherish for ever. There is always something that reminds me of Tia Maria. There are things my Tia taught me about cooking that I continue today. Loved her very much.

“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.” Psalm 23

Joey, Martha, Daniel, MarySue and family, how saddened I was to hear of your Mom's passing. She was a dear friend to my Mom and family in our old Indiana Harbor days. What a great and lovely women she was.

Rejoice and celebrate the love she had for each of you. Those memories will be what guides you in the days and weeks to come. The Lord be with you in your hours of sorrow.

Joe and Sue Arias,

Lift me up my God into thy loving warmth. Look not behind as I approach the safe Harbor of Eternity. The binds of pain, tears, and suffering now loose, I know I am saved.

Hoping that time will bring you comfort, friends will give you strength, and beautuful memories will fill your heart with peace during this time of sadness for you and your family.

May God place Maria among his righteous, and grant you strength at this time of sorrow. Please accept our deepest sympathy from all of our members.
