Donald Fedor Obituary
Donald G. Fedor, Sr, age 77, US National Guard Veteran, of Whiting, passed away at his home on Thursday, September 26, 2013. Beloved husband for 54 years of Phyllis Fedor (nee Perry). Loving father of Cynthia (Bill) Spoor, Donald (Sharon) Fedor, Jr, Mark (Pamela) Fedor, Maria (Ken) Bzibziak, and Sharon (Charlie) Perrott. Proud grandfather of Danny Spoor, Vincent Fedor, Stephen Fedor, Alicia (Victor) Benson, Kristin (fiancé Mike Evans) Fedor, Aaron Fedor, and Samantha Perrott. Dearest great grandfather of Natalie Benson and Kerri Benson. Devoted brother of the late Janie Fedor. And granddog, Moxy. Don enjoyed his Notre Dome Football, the Chicago Bears and White Sox. He enjoyed his time fishing in Ludington, MI and tinkering on his car. He was also a member of the American Legion Whiting Post 80 and Hammond Mohawks. Don retired as a computer programmer with Amoco after 30 years, he was also retired from the Sanitary District of Hammond. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at OWENS-RUZICH FUNERAL HOME, 816 119th Street, Whiting. Funeral service Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at 9:30 AM from OWENS- RUZICH FUNERAL HOME, to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM with Rev. John Kalicky, C.PP.S. officiating. Interment at St. John Cemetery, Hammond.
