As I read the tributes on this site, I am not surprised that my cousin Pete retained the amiable & loving disposition I encountered in the early 80s when the Tomaga/Palmateer household was a home away from home. Although ten years Pete's senior, I'll never forget the hand-me-UP clothes he gave me that kept my thin California blood warm during four cold Fort Wayne winters. As one who has experienced the sudden loss of a father, for all Pete's family (especially Shane & Chad), I pray that these sad days will be solaced through on-going reflection of how God has bestowed His blessings through Pete's life.

Words can hardly describe what a heartbreaking loss this is to those who shared in Pete's life. From the time our families first came together, I felt an instant connection with Pete.
