Daniel J. Bombarg, Jr., "Bomber" HOBART, IN - Daniel J. Bombarg, Jr., "Bomber", age 59, of Hobart, passed away suddenly on September 8, 2017 in Goshen, IN. Dan was born on October 3, 1957 in Chicago, IL. Dan graduated from Hobart High School in 1976, later moved to Arizona and returned to Hobart in 2008 and worked at Strack & Van Til. He loved camping, fishing, watching his team, the Cubs, and all other Chicago teams, with his family and friends. Dan was a member of St. Bridget's Church and the Moose Lodge in Goshen. He will be loved and missed by all. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel J. Bombarg, Sr. Dan is survived by his mother, Mary Bombarg; sister, Tammy Bombarg; nephew, Zachery Molizon; many other relatives and friends. Funeral service for Dan will be Friday, September 15, 2017 at 11:30 a.m., at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 701 East 7th Street, Hobart, Fr. Dominic Bertino officiating. Friends may visit with his family on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at Burns in Hobart. Interment at Calumet Park Cemetery. www.burnsfuneral.com
