Cynthia Macomber Obituary

Cynthia G. Willmoth Macomber VALPARAISO, IN - Cynthia G. Willmoth Macomber, 65, formerly of Hobart, died peacefully on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Life Care Centers of the Willows. She was born December 24, 1951, in Gary, IN, to the late Richard and Elizabeth (Johnston) Willmoth. She graduated from Hobart High School in 1970 and later earned a degree in computer programming at Purdue. Cindy was a kind, compassionate, gentle soul who will live on in the hearts of those that knew her. She is survived by daughter, Jennifer (Jim) Bush; daughter, Kelly (Bill) Haynes; daughter, Heidi Macomber; daughter Amanda Macomber; son, Ralph Macomber (fiancé Ashley Dalton); thirteen grandchildren: John, Adam, Jimmy Bush, Billy, David, Eric Haynes, Brayden, Hayden, Addisyn, Hope, Kayleigh Macomber, MacKenzie Caraway, Elijah Vega; sister, Catherine (Dave) McKinnis. She was preceded in death by a beloved brother, Richard Knute Willmoth and her parents. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Cindy was one of my favorite childhood friends. She was truly a kind & gentle soul. I am so sorry I never was in touch with her after we graduated from high school. I have many fond and funny memories of Cindy that I will cherish for the rest of my life.
