TERRY OVERTURF Obituary

Terry Lee Overturf Terry Lee Overturf was born on June 7, 1954 in Gary, IN to Cullen and Dorothy (Treece) Overturf. He attended school in Hobart in the graduating class of 1973. On April 5, 2007, he married Cindy Anderson. Terry worked for 30 years at Bethlehem Steel. After he met Cindy he moved to St. Croix Falls, WI. He then worked ten years driving the U.S. mail. Terry loved fishing, hunting, singing Southern gospel music, and Hobart Brickies football. Terry was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Jack and Tim Overturf. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Anderson; daughter Tanja Overturf; sons, Trent (Heather) Overturf and Trevor (Taryn) Overturf; stepchildren, Randy, Greg, and Tracy Anderson; grandchildren, Makenzie and Michael; siblings, Sandra (Rick) Harvey, and Frank (Micki) Overturf; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A celebration of Terry’s life will be held on Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at the VFW in Hobart, IN.

I met Terry coaching Hobart Pop warner football. Loved talking fishing with him and had a great time coaching with him. lots of fond memories! Hobart Football lost a great one1 R.I.P. my friend. My thoughts and prayers to the family.
