The Rappel Family is deeply saddened having just learned of Shelly's passing. I fondly remember our days at the ALpha Tau Sigma House on Jefferson Street in Kirksville, MO. Shelly was a delight and a great friend and peer. Although I did not have the opportunity to spend much time with Shelly, we did have our long telephone conferences regarding Osteopathic Education and his dedication to the start-up of one of the Osteopathic Professions premier colleges in San Francisco, CA. My great times with Shelly and the Family in Kirksville are dear to my heart and during my recent return to MO. I had some fond memories of our four years together at KCOM. I will miss you my friend. Our heartfelt condolences to the family .

So many years with so much water under the bridge. Was a true friend. I remember his making "rounds" with me at KCOM when I was a senior. My first test as a Doctor was when his brother passed out at the wedding ceremony and I was there "officiating". An older Doctor came along and said. "I'll take over, I am a doctor,,,,, to which I answered from my kneeling position,,,, "SO AM I"
When in need you could always count on Shelly's help! I am going on 85 years young and I look forward to greeting him in the not too distant future. Our heartfelt condolences to the family.

I felt very sad to hear that my friend
Sheldon had passed away.
We grew up together being members of Club Centaur on Driggs Ave in Bklyn with about 15 or so others.
One by one, we're going, but at least we all had a great time growing up as friends.
I send my best to the family.

I am very sorry to hear of Dr Sirota's passing. Not only was I a patient of his, but he was also a client of mine at the bank. We always use to talk Yankee baseball. I am deeply saddened. God bless his family, and God give them strength during this difficult time.
