I am saddened to hear the news of Uncle Don's passing. He was a great man. He made a real impression on my life. My Dad, Jim Callan and my grandmother, his sister, Marge Callan, adored and were so proud of him. He was always there for them when it counted. I was so touched when he spoke at my wedding two years ago, and elated when I came down the aisle and saw him with Aunt Carmen at his side watching from the terrace. His smile was gleaming. Being around him always made me feel the presence of those who past. Now he's with all of them and I'm sure writing a play that would tell the story of all of us left behind. I'm sure he's assigning parts and I can see him directing everyone with cues and song. Goodbye Uncle Donnie, you will always be loved by many. You made the world a much better place to be.

Don McNicol was very involved with my Dad's Harvard football devotion as well as his law career for many years. My brother and I send sympathy and love to his entire family on this sad loss...may he go gently into that good night...

Sincere condolences for your loss of "Mr. McNicol." My Dad's attorney, fellow Harvard enthusiast and friend, I've such good memories of all McNicols from way back in the 1950's and early 60's and remember your father as a real "hale fellow, well met." That he continued to lead such a full and robust life is such good news.
You're all in my thoughts.
Sincerely,
