INDERIVE AHLUWALIA Obituary

AHLUWALIA--Inderive (Andy) Singh, 58 years old, passed away on January 23, 2014. Andy was devoted to his family and is survived by his wife Nancy Silverman, children Harrison Samir and Jillian Rachna Ahluwalia, brother Pradeep Singh Ahluwalia and sister-in-law Mary Ahluwalia, his large extended family of aunts, uncles, in-laws, nieces and nephews and predeceased by his parents Jagjit and Balwant Singh Ahluwalia. Andy had a 29 year battle with a rare thyroid cancer that he handled with grace, courage and dignity. He dealt privately with his disease and lived a full life with his family and friends. He had a great sense of humor and zest for life. Andy had an incredible work ethic and positive attitude which was recognized by each of the companies he worked for as well as those he developed as an entrepreneur. The Memorial Service will be held at Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, Fairfield, CT at 2pm Friday, January 31st followed by a gathering of friends and family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Inderive Ahluwalia to support Thyroid and Endocrine Cancer Research at Massachusetts General Hospital, with checks made out to MGH (Inderive Ahluwalia in the memo line) and sent c/o MGH Development Office, 100 Cambridge Street, Suite 1310, Boston, MA 02114.
