The Board and Staff of NRDC mourn the loss of our treasured friend and founding trustee, Michael McIntosh. Michael was instrumental in building NRDC and its mission. His fighting spirit embodied the heart and soul of the institution. He was a champion of justice, a protector of people, and a defender of our last great landscapes, including his cherished Alaskan wilderness. We will forever remain honored to be a part of his remarkable legacy. Our deepest sympathies go out to his beloved wife Winsome, his sons and grandchildren and everyone who had the privilege to call him a friend. Daniel R. Tishman, Chairman, Rhea Suh, President, John H. Adams, Founding Director, Frances Beinecke, former President
