May cherished memories live on in the hearts and prayers of love ones bringing comfort as he R.I.P until that new day when all is made new and death is no more.

We are thinking of you and will always remember looking forward to seeing your mother and father upon their return to Lightning Bug Hollow each year. As we walk down the road to their former house we will think of your father's wit and gentle ways. These are our fond memories of George and are part of the fabric of our lives here in the hollow.
Our love to all of you.

Obituary notices are, by their very nature, sad announcements that we have lost a family member or dear friend. But seldom do they capture the essence of the one lost as accurately as the recent notice announcing the passing of Dr. George Lowen.
As former long time patients, we remember Dr. Lowen as being the most kind and gentle healer, who listened, suggested, prescribed and personally cared for us in his most understanding and thoughtful manner. He single handedly abolished the notion that going for a medical appointment had to become a traumatic event. Rather, he made each visit a chance for him to display that devilish twinkle in his eye, and to experience his enthusiasm for his being his usual, lovable and thoroughly professional "rascal".
We miss him.
