Dearest Elaine and Family,
My family and I just learned of Mark´s passing, and we are devastated. Mark and I were colleagues at Cardozo. I remember him as a brilliant student and friend. His kindness and humanity were also his most salient characteristics. When he spoke of his family, he always broke out into a smile. The world has lost a great man - a light in humanity. We will always remember him with love and admiration.
Sending our deepest condolences and love,
Gabriella Gafni and Family

Mark Beigelman was one of my my most brilliant students while he pursued his M. A. In Arts Administration at the Steinhardt School, NYU. I will never forget his brilliantly produced Brel seen on 72d Street. He was outstanding in everything he did and warm hearted leader in his field.
It was an honor to teach and advise him.
I Bless his memory as one of my great joys in life.

Mark Beigelman was the true spirit of a Gentle-man. Mark touched my life and guided me as a artist from the first day we meet in 1990 at IFC...While I never meet you and the family, Mark would light up when he spoke of his family...Mark spread some much love on this planet...he will be missed and never forgotten. I am saddened to hear of Mark's passing. We were roommates in Boulder. I remember his insightful film reviews in the student paper and his enthusiastic work and acting at the summer Shakespeare festival. But, what I really remember about Mark was his quick wit, his quest for knowledge and his piercing eyes. He was a good man.
