Jill, I just learned of Marty's sudden death. The people of New York and the world have lost a wonderful, beautiful person. My prayers and sympathies to you and Danielle.

I will always remember Marty as a unique and caring person. He was a wonderful neighbor at 115 East 9th Street. We had many wonderful talks together as we lived on the same floor.
I remember when Danielle was born and how excited he was to be a dad. I send my deepest sympathies to Jill and Danielle and the rest of his family.

A truly great man and a great friend to us when he was our neighbor here at 115 E. 9th. There are so many moments that I will never forget. I am so sorry to learn of his passing. He will be greatly missed. To Jill and Danielle and other members of his family, I wish you comfort and peace in knowing how much Marty was loved and revered by others. I held him in the highest regard.

My friend Marty, my pal, i only knew him for 2 years or so but i KNEW right away this was a special man. A truly genuine, sincere man who really was exactly what he seemed to be. He would walk in the court and Id announce my "idol" had arrived!! lol. Everyone who knew him at 120 Schermerhorn will miss him. R.I.P buddy,..you earned it. ;)

I am so sorry to learn of Marty's passing. We had a wonderful time visiting in Tampa last month and I am really glad that we were able to reconnect. May G-D comfort you all.
