It is with great sadness that I have found out about Yale Kneeland's passing. In the short time that I worked with him, Yale demonstrated to be a true gentleman, generous with his knowledge, always ready with a kind or encouraging word and he never forgot how to laugh.

I am very sad to learn of Yale's passing. He was a great fellow to work with for the many years we shared at the Met. I learned a great deal from the man and always enjoyed his bonhomie.
