Brother of the late Margaret Porter. Grandfather of Paige, Heather, Paul and Julia. Great-grandfather of Carley, James and Christopher. Memorial Service at St. John's Church of Cold Spring Harbor, Friday, January 18, 2013 at 2pm. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Memorial Sloan-Kettering or to the Destroyer Escort Historical Museum, which maintains the USS Slater DE 766, on which Colton served as Executive Officer during WWII.
