I was Mike's colleague at the Hagley Library for many years. He was a kind, intelligent and understanding person. I am so sorry for the family's great loss. May his memory be for a blessing.

Just heard about Michael's death on WBAI's "Law & Disorder." Shocked and saddened. He was a wonderful scholar, and person, who was extremely helpful during the years I headed the National Committee to Reopen the Rosenberg Case. He will be sorely missed.

Dear Jeanne, It was a shock to see the word obituary! What can I say? Michael's suffering has ended but the rest of us remain. I will be with you going forward in this new passage in your life.

I shall always remember with very great affection and tenderness, mike's friendship - his sincerity, his gentleness, his sweet soul and goodness of heart, his tenderheartedness, his generosity of spirit. I knew Mike for more than fifty years.
