JOSEPH KELTER

KELTER--Joseph John, M.D., 91, of Edison, NJ died on Tuesday, September 11 at home. He was a physician with a private practice in Internal Medicine and Cardiology in Brooklyn for many years, retiring 12 years ago. He earned his M.D. degree from NYU. He was a veteran of the army during peace time from 1945 to 1947. Born in Middletown, CT, he lived in Brooklyn before moving to Edison 25 years ago. He is the beloved husband of the late Viola (nee Ades), father of Dr. Richard Kelter, Dr. Julie Timins-Lupatkin and the late Jonathan David Kelter, brother of the late Murray Kelter, grandfather of five, and great-grandfather of eight. Funeral services at Menorah Chapels, 2950 Vaux Hall Rd., Union, NJ on Wed., Sept. 12 at 11:30. Interment Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge.
