Dear family, I am so very sorry to hear this sad news. Your Father was an exceptional man and with your beautiful Mother, raised exceptional children. All of whom I have had the honor of knowing from our days at Cushing Academy. Bless you all and your Father's spirit as it gently soars. Love, Sally Wiesman

"Cowards die many times before their deaths, the valiant never taste of death but once." - William Shakespeare (Julius Caesar)

My father was the most valiant man I ever knew. Whatever difficulty, hardship, or setback he faced, he never gave up and always persevered. He showed us so much of the world, and we have many fond memories of our experiences in those countries. I love you, Daddy, and I will miss you.

Dear Irena and family,

Thank you for sharing your father's extraordinary life and accomplishments. Clearly, he was a visionary generation(s) ahead of his time. Having learned from personal experience, I know your Dad will remain a beacon and bellwether to you and your family ad infinitum. Your attributes and humility bear witness to his extraordinary legacy. What a proud father you must have reciprocally made you Dad.

With deepest sympathy.

Dear Irena and family,
I didn't have the pleasure of knowing your father, but have enjoyed (if one can enjoy reading an obituary) reading about him. No surprise that he was an incredibly accomplished man, with international vision. As they say, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I'm guessing a part of your love of travel and your zest for life came from him. A wonderful legacy. I'm sure he'll be sorely missed. All my best, Kathy
