MORTON GERSON Obituary

GERSON--Morton M., 90 of New York City passed away Sunday April 14 at the Springs Nursing Home, Sarasota, FL. He was born and raised in Brooklyn and was a lifelong resident of New York City. He was a US Army veteran. He served during WWII and was awarded the Bronze Star in 1948. He was owner Plymouth Typographers Inc. and ALP Graphics both of NYC, NY. Surviving is his loving wife of 30 years Tobe nee Friedman Gerson, beloved father of Ann Flynn and her husband Jeffrey of Scotch Plains, Loren Gerson, NY City, and Paulette Gleit and her husband Larry of Avon, CT, and step father of Barry Aplert and his wife Judy of Pittsburg, Mark Alpert and his wife Hillary of Penlynn, PA, John Alpert and his wife Laura of Mountainside, Jeff Alpert and his wife Lisa of Ross, CA and Bess Molnar and her husband Edward of Scotch Plains, loving grandchildren Matthew Flynn and Zachary and Matthew Gleit and step grandchildren Diane, Leslie, Hallie, Josh, Lorie, Craig, Kayla, and Dylan Alpert. Graveside services are private. Funeral services are under the direction of Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Suberban Funeral Chapels, Livingston.
