Missed as great friend and counselor.

The picture of Mr Mc Nally I can see today is incredibly close to the image I keep from those summers I spent with your family, back in 1982 and 1983... It brings back a lot of wonderful memories. The warmth and elegance of Mr Mc Nally, the strong family values I could feel and rely on, despite the cultural differences (being a 15-year-old French girl at that time, out of Europe for the first time) made me feel at home instantly.
My thoughts are with you today, at this most difficult moment,

Dearest Sally and Family
It is hard to imagine the world without Jack. Where now to find such intelligence with a matching ethic? Where now such a friend to reach to, advisor to draw upon, generosity of spirit in tough times? Jack would probably answer to go and do likewise, so we all outside your loving family should honor his memory by trying just that. Peace, Sally – you are and will remain a vital part of our memory of Jack. Including our sending Jack unawares to his 50th Surprise Birthday Party, an event that can still bring a smile to a now saddened face.

This is a great loss for you Sally. I know you loved him, and you looked so good together. I remember seeing you both at Patty's house and thought how special a couple you were. My prayers are with you.
