My condolences to the family. May the God of peace bring you comfort until the time when "no resident will say I am sick." Once again, very sorry for your loss.

Dear Mrs. Alenstein, Alec and Abigail and Helene: I just received word and am heart broken to hear of Mr. Alenstein's passing. He was and always will be an extra-ordinarily special person in my life and although I had not been in touch with him since leaving D&L, I kept him carefully tucked away in my heart. They were wonderful--those years he shared the love of his profession with me. He was truly a marvel in so many ways! But what caused me to marvel about him most of all was his great and tender love for you all. You were so blessed of God to have had such a one as he. I know this is a loss of unfathomable and unspeakable depths.
I will pray for you, that you would be comforted by God's Holy Spirit and strengthened as you move forward onto a new life without him. I know that God will answer my prayers quickly (as He always does) but especially as recompense for the great kindnesses Mr. Alenstein bestowed upon me.
Very truly yours,
Mrs. Barnes

May God who see's the tears, pain of hearts of all friends, family comfort and strengthen you all. So that the power beyond what is normal may be God's and not that of ourselves. Warmest and deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Mr. Ronald Alenstein.

Mary: my thoughts are with you at this difficult time. I remember us all gathering in the tree streets for 4th of July family fun. Ron was a stand up guy, classy, smart and a valued member of Briarcliff..
