HEATHER DILLENBECK

DILLENBECK--Heather Wright, 72, of Old Lyme, CT, died suddenly on June 11, 2014. Heather was born on February 5, 1942 in Toronto, Canada. She was predeceased by her parents, Adeline Gibson Hess and Arnauld Leonard Wright, who received the OBE for service in the Canadian Army in World War II. Heather graduated with a BA in Economics from Stanford, and received a Masters degree in Economics from Yale. She worked for 25 years as an Economist for US Trust Company in New York, retiring as Senior Vice President. After retiring from US Trust, she served as a volunteer in many different capacities, most notably for many years as the Treasurer of St. Ann's Church in Old Lyme. She recently became a grandmother, which brought great joy to her life. Heather leaves her husband of 32 years, Richard Dillenbeck, of Old Lyme; daughter Carolyn Wright Dillenbeck, son-in-law Blake Liggio, grandchildren Quinn and Dante Liggio of Boston, MA; sister Rosemary Wright of Chatham, NJ; and stepchildren Mark R. Dillenbeck of Charlotte, VT, Anne Gilbert Dillenbeck of Rexford, NY, and Christina D. Wood, of Wellesley, MA.
