R. COOPER Obituary

COOPER--R. John III, died June 11 at age 72. He graduated from Amherst College, Harvard Law School and earned a doctorate in English literature from Drew University. John practiced law for over 30 years. He started at Cravath, Swaine & Moore and became a partner at Casey, Lane & Mittendorf. He later became general counsel respectively to Time Video Group, Inc., Young & Rubicam, and Havas Advertising. John is survived by his wife Unni Cooper, two children, Kirsten Cooper Poler and Russell John Cooper IV, and four grandchildren. There will be a memorial service at Christ Church in Short Hills, NJ, on Friday, July 11 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to either Christ Church, 66 Highland Ave., Short Hills, NJ, 07078 or the Foundation for Morristown Medical Center, 475 South St., Morristown, NJ, 07960.
