PIERRE PICOT Obituary

PICOT--Pierre, died peacefully at home in Forest Hills, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, November 9. Born in 1930 in Paris, France, to Eugenie and Efim Picot, his mother emigrated the family to NYC in 1939 after hearing Hitler's speeches. Fluent in Russian, French, and English, Pierre translated Russian Propaganda for US Armed Forces' Military Intelligence during the Korean War. He married his beloved Charlotte in 1958. A successful banker and attorney, he leaves behind his wife, two daughters Leslie Picot Zane and Liz Picot Hirsh, grandchildren, Sydney, Dylan, Ally and Austen, and sons-in-law, Andrew and David. Pierre's passing has left a hole in our hearts.
