Bruce Hinkle Obituary

MIDLAND Bruce Daniel Hinkle, 63, passed away December 23, 2012 after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

Brother, Robert (Muriel) Hinkle of Nova Scotia, Canada; Brother Don (D'Aun) of Sterling, Colorado plus several nieces and nephews. Bruce was preceded in death by his Father, Garth Perry Hinkle and his Mother, Katherine Ann Hinkle, both of Sweetwater, Texas.

As a Professional Engineer, Bruce worked for Freese Nichols & Esmond, Inc. until he went to work for S.W. Howell, Inc. in 1985.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Home Hospice of Odessa for making Bruce and the family as comfortable as possible.

At his request, cremation has taken place and there will be no viewing or funeral. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his name to Home Hospice, American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.

My sympathies to the family. Having worked with Bruce for quite a few years, I can say he was an excellent Engineer and person. Always friendly and helpful. His IQ was probably quite high and he knew how to get things done efficiently. That old former alter boy will be greatly missed.
