Dee Sewell Obituary

INGRAM Dee Dock Sewell, 41, died at his home July 31, 2011, in Ingram, TX.

He was born August 19, 1969, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was immediately adopted (chosen) by Dock and Patti Sewell to be their son and brought home to Iraan, TX.

When Dee was three years-old, the family moved to Fort Stockton where he attended schools and graduated from Fort Stockton High School in 1988.

Dee married Rebecca Ann Lopez in Fort Stockton on April 22, 1989. Together they had three beautiful children. She preceded him in death on March 9, 2011.

He is survived by his children Lauryn Sewell and Tyler Sewell of Austin & Lindy Sewell of Ingram, third wife Jeannie and his parents Dock and Patti Sewell of Odessa.

Dee was production superintendent for Diamondback Production Company in Rocksprings.

He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter & fisherman. Dee was happiest when he was with his family and children. He was a great fan of the Texas Longhorns.

Dee was cremated in Kerrville, and his ashes will be buried with his first wife Rebecca in Austin. Dee previously lived in Austin, Ozona, TX and Carlsbad NM.

Dee was a great friend, always there for you if you needed him. He lived life large and made many friends who will miss him everyday. Even though we had not been in touch there was always the brotherhood we had and when we did meet up we didn't skip a beat. Going to miss you buddy.
