ODESSA Sandra Irene Minear, age 61, of Odessa, TX, passed away on November 19, 2014, in Odessa.
Sandra was born on December 23, 1952, in Modesto, CA, to Andrew Dove Wyrosdick and Florence Etta Laney Wyrosdick. She was raised in Midland, TX, and graduated from Midland High School in 1971. She married Randall Minear on September 23, 2001, here in Odessa. She was a file clerk in the oilfield. To know her was to love her. She loved to play the piano and travel. She also enjoyed embroidery. One of her favorite things was cooking for her family. Her specialty was German chocolate cake. Holiday's were a very special time for her, cooking and decorating her home. She always put others before herself. She definitely was an animal lover, especially her cats.
She is survived by her husband, Randall Minear, daughters, Sandra Gail Self of Everett, Pennsylvania, Jerilyn Bertie and Casey Tyree of Greenwood, as well as numerous brothers and sisters and grandchildren, Brittany and Jordan Winslett of Odessa and Charlie Gibson of Midland, and great grandchild, Andrew Winslett.
Visitation will be on Friday, November 21, 2014, from 6-8 pm at Sunset Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at 10:00 am at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
