JOHN PRIMM Obituary

PRIMM, JOHN
BRENDAN HALLINAN
Madison - John Brendan Hallinan Primm died July 24, 2013 when he was struck by a car while riding his bike.
He was born January 2, 1991 to Patricia Hallinan and John Primm of Madison, WI. He is survived by his parents; his sister Meghan Primm (Bennett Robinson) of St. Louis Park, MN., the love of his life, Allie LoBue of Madison, WI; his grandmothers, Eleanor Hallinan of Washington, IL. and Carol Primm of Ocala, FL.; nine aunts (Mary, Jane, Kathleen, Gail, Joan, Terri, Debbie, Joyce and Anne); six uncles (John, Jack, Mark, Mike, and Joe); and sixteen cousins (Gennie, Mike, David, Matthew, Dave, Chris, Simon, Sam, Phil, Audrey, Dan, Erin, Nate, Mary, Katy and Joe) also survive.
They are joined by hundreds of his friends in mourning the loss of this much beloved young man. This shooting star brightened all the lives he touched, brought smiles to faces, and sprinkled us with stardust. He leaves us much too soon.
He was a student at Edgewood College majoring in Theatre Arts. He performed and crewed in, Bye Bye Birdie, The Cor Stories, Antigone, Wait Until Dark, The Improv Show, The Patient, Tell Me You Love Me, Junie Moon, Comedy of Errors, Fuddy Meers, YesAnd! improv group, Fahrenheit 451, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Arabian Nights for which he was recognized with an Irene Ryan acting award. He stage managed Our Town and directed Boxed In. He loved life with a passion for baking, and he found great enjoyment in soccer, biking, gardening and skiing.
There will be a small private family service this week which will be followed by an awesome rumpus in honor of his life in August or September. All friends will be welcome at the later event. Information regarding the rumpus will be posted on the fundraising site listed below.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to a fund established to support the theatre and arts community in Madison, WI. The website is:

I look at the picture above, and it is like seeing my friend, Duffy, from high school. My heart is torn in mourning for this beautiful soul your family has lost. While I have lived through the loss of close family members, I cannot comprehend how difficult it would be to lose a child. My heart holds yours tightly in the days and weeks to come, yet celebrates with you in recalling the wonderful memories that will keep him close always. Love, prayers and my sincerest sympathy to you all ... Mary

I don't know your family, but we lost a son eleven months ago. He was thirty eight and had a heart attack while biking. My heart aches for you. Hold on to the memories, no one can take those away. There are no words to take away the hurt, but you will be in my prayers.

When we lose someone very precious, no one else can really know all that you feel… But, please know that many caring thoughts are with you all during this time of sorrow.
