Belleview - Oleta Flo Hix, 92, died at her residence on Monday, June 13, 2011. She was born in Detroit, MI and moved to this area from Bonita Springs, FL in 1994. She was a member of the Church of Christ and a homemaker. She held many positions in the VFW, was a member of the Eagles, Moose, and contributed time to the elderly. She was an active volunteer in several organizations being appointed to several posts throughout the years She is survived by her daughters Gail A. Sharp, Belleview, Trish Kappauf, Naples, FL; sons, Pete Allen Parks of Belleview, FL Raymond R. Parks, Glendale, CA, Robert D. Parks, Summerfield, FL, Michael B, Parks, Pomroy, Ohio; 19 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 7 PM, Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Hiers-Belleview Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview with Pastor Stan Hannan officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Online condolences may be sent at www.hiers-baxley.com .
