GILBERT JENNINGS Obituary
Gilbert Jennings, age 53, of Morriston passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2012. He was born in Ocala, FL on June 9, 1959 and was married to Cathy Jennings for 35 years.
He is survived by their sons Jereme (Leslie Seale) Jennings of Morriston, FL and Josh (Kayla) Jennings of Morriston, FL. Gilbert is the son of Bill and Leona Jennings and brother of James (Glenda) Jennings and Willie Jennings. He graduated from Vanguard High School and worked his owned metal fabrication shop for 20 years. He enjoyed flying, antique cars and his family and was a member of the MeadowBrook Church.
Visitation will be held Tuesday 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Fellowship Baptist Church where the service will be held Wednesday 10:00am at the church with burial following at West Marion Baptist Church Cemetery.
Family suggests contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Awareness.

Gilbert will be missed by all of us who knew him. He was a dedicated husband, loving father and cherished son. His committment to family and friends was extraordinary. He was a lifelong friend and I have some great memories of him. Josh and Jereme, you had two great parents. They loved you so much and were very proud of you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you now and in the days to come.

Rest In Peace Gilbert. I will never forget you and the times we had growing up. Cowboys and Indians under the big Pecan tree in the front yard with the big rock as our cover. Riding Prince, racing down the country roads to the store for milk. We didn't see each other much growing up, but we sure made quality time out of the times we did have. I will never forget you and your beautiful bride. Cathy was wonderful addition to the family.
